On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Nick Saban informed his team at The University of Alabama that he is retiring after 17 seasons with the Tide.

Born in West Virginia in 1952, Terry Saban first met her now-husband while the two were schoolchildren.
The longstanding couple tied the knot in 1971.

He also won his first national championship in 2003 when he was the head coach for Louisianna State University.
Many consider him to be one of the greatest college football coaches of all time.
